• While he is typically a villain in the amateur World-Wide Wrestling Alliance, some young fans salute along with him
A teacher in Pennsylvania is being investigated by his school district after his extra-circular activities surfaced in videos showing him wrestling as a Nazi caricature.
Kevin Bean, 36, who works as a teacher at the Spring-Ford Intermediate School, moonlights as a wrestler for the World-Wide Wrestling Alliance under the persona of ‘Blitzkrieg: The German Juggernaut.’
The videos, first reported and shared by ProWestling Sheet’s founder Ryan Satin show the Spring-Ford Area School District teacher entering the ring waving a flag with the German Iron Cross and making the Nazi arm salute while shouting ‘Sieg heil!’

The video from the June 23 match in Quakertown has since gone viral.
While the Iron Cross is not a swastika, the Anti-Defamation League lists it in their Hate Symbols Database: ‘the Iron Cross is a famous German military medal dating back to the 19th century. During the 1930s, the Nazi regime in Germany superimposed a swastika on the traditional medal, turning it into a Nazi symbol.’
While the majority of the crowd reacts negatively to Bean’s character, Satin pointed out, at least one child returns the salute.
‘Watching the guy do Nazi salutes on his way to the ring while children in the crowd cheer him on like a good guy is terrifying,’ Satin took to his Twitter to share.
Bean has been employed by the district since 2004.
Erin Crew, spokeswoman for the Spring-Ford Area School District, told the Mercury News the administration ‘was made aware of a video featuring an employee, outside of the school setting, participating in an amateur wrestling event.’

‘Once administrators were made aware of the video they acted immediately to conduct an ongoing internal investigation. As this is a personnel matter, further details will not be addressed publicly.’
However, she added: ‘The actions portrayed in this video do not represent the core values of the school district. As an educational organization, we pride ourselves in providing a safe and nurturing learning environment.’
Meanwhile, Dino Sanna, the owner of the WWWA came to Bean’s defense calling him a ‘good guy and not a hateful person,’ who is very religious and maintains close ties to his local church.
